A clear guide to how The Stonecrest Podcast listens, verifies, and creates space for Stonecrest and DeKalb County conversations.
What is The Stonecrest Podcast?
The Stonecrest Podcast is a grassroots, community-built podcast started in 2021 by people who live, work, and build in Stonecrest. It creates free conversations, local context, civic access, discovery, and resident participation for Stonecrest and the connected DeKalb County community.
What places does the platform cover?
Stonecrest is first. DeKalb County is a core connected coverage area because Stonecrest residents live, work, vote, gather, and access services throughout the county. Every item identifies its source and relevant geographic scope. Event locations are checked using the original address and official city boundaries, not postal labels alone.
How are updates, events, and featured conversations chosen?
Each item is reviewed for its original source, date, link, and relevant details before it is published. Public listings preserve source-supplied facts and a direct original link; full third-party documents, images, videos, and event materials are not republished by default. The platform prioritizes constructive, useful, solutions-oriented material rather than sensational coverage.
What does the AI disclosure mean?
The Stonecrest Podcast does not currently publish AI-generated summaries. If that changes, any AI-assisted summary will be clearly labeled, linked to its original source, and published with human editorial review.
How does the Election Series remain neutral?
The Election Series provides equal-access interview opportunities under a consistent participation process. The Stonecrest Podcast does not endorse candidates, and paid placement does not affect access. Participation status and source records are presented clearly.
What is Community Voice?
Community Voice is the invitation to leave a short SpeakPipe voice note with a local question, story idea, guest suggestion, or topic that deserves attention. Voice notes are reviewed before any public use. A recording is not automatically published.
How can I share an event, business, organization, or local opportunity?
Use the Connect page or leave a Community Voice note. Include an original organizer or official source whenever possible. Submission does not guarantee inclusion, and no item is displayed until it is reviewed.
Where can I watch or listen to episodes?
Visit Watch & Listen for approved episodes and video conversations. Source records direct visitors to the original podcast or video platform when relevant.
How can I support the podcast?
The Stonecrest Podcast is built by neighbors and made to be accessible. Optional support helps fund free interviews, community engagement, and the production team behind the work. Support does not influence civic coverage, guest invitations, or Election Series access. Support The Stonecrest Podcast.
How do I contact the team?
