The AJC reports that a resident-led effort to recall Stonecrest Mayor Jason Lary was thrown out after it was deemed incomplete and legally insufficient by the DeKalb County Elections Office.

The recall effort failed to get 100 signatures that Hamilton’s office could verify, according to documents obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
